Why Get Involved
Mentorship: As students embark upon their undergraduate experience, we understand the importance of each student finding a peer group. When they join an organization, new students are quickly connected with upperclassmen that can assist them in navigating campus.
Finding you niche: Our goal is to connect students with the resources to focus on quality cocurricular experiences not quantity. The CSI offers cocurricular programs and services that enhance the collegiate experience. We serve as a centralized location for student involvement with over 200 student organizations, and provide opportunities for students to start new organizations/programs that do not currently exist at Truman.
CSI Activities: Getting students connected to the campus and local community is a top priority. Each year thousands of students participate in events such as Homecoming, Purple Fridays, Dawg Fest, the Big Event, and Activities Fairs.
It would a pleasure to speak with you in greater depth regarding the Center for Student Involvement. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any of the CSI staff.
Sincerely,
