Tutorial Overview

To begin, log into your TruView account using your personal login and password. If you have been designated the President of an organization for a term you will have an additional "OrgRoster" tab at the top of TruView.

Banner tutorial

Although you are only granted maintenance access to an organization for a single semester, you will be able to view any previous semester rosters for which there is Banner data. It is crucial if there is a change of presidential leadership to notify the CSI because this is the only way the CSI will know to activate the OrgRoster tab for the president. Once the president has been identified either through the Student Organization Recognition Agreement Form (SORAF) or the Change of Information Form (CIF), then a CSI staff member will grant access to the president. (The SORAF is put in the organization campus mailbox at the beginning of the fall semester and is typically due in mid-September. The CIF form will be placed in the organization campus mailbox at the beginning of the spring semester. You can also get this form on-line at csi.truman.edu or stop by our office.) The president will be sent an e-mail notifying the president that maintenance access has been granted. At this time, the “OrgRoster” tab will show up on the president’s TruView page.

Within the OrgRoster tab you should see the option "Student Maintenance Menu". When you click on it you should be taken to a screen with the following three options:

  • Assign Memberships
  • Maintain Memberships
  • Organization Roster
