What is the Co-Curricular Record and what will it do for me?
The Co-curricular record is an institutionally verified record of your out-of-class involvement while at Truman. A chartered student organization is required to submit an organizational roster of its members and leadership positions held. The record can be helpful to you in many ways: a tool to help in the creation of your resume, internship, job, and graduate school applications; a form of verification to employers/graduate schools about your involvement; and as an organizational president it can be a history of past members, length of their involvement, positions they held, and hopefully a way to contact past members in the future. It is important to note that the student has total control over what involvement they will want to be on his or her record. Please visit the Co-Curricular Record website for more information.

Where do I go to get information about making a banner; what do I need, where can I hang it and for how long?
To make a banner, you need a twin size sheet and 50ft of cotton rope (both of which you can purchase from the CSI). You need to make your design on an 8 ½” x 11” sheet of white paper, and then you can trace your design by using the opaque projector located in the CSI Conference Room. Where do I go to get posters approved? Any type of flyer or poster of a chartered student organization must have a stamp from the CSI (to be posted on non-residence hall bulletin boards) and Res Living (to be posted in residence halls) before it can be posted on campus. Also, the organization has to be in good standing before the flyer/poster can be stamped.

What are the policies regarding posting and chalking on campus?
The CSI has Posting and Chalking Policies located in the kiosk outside of the CSI Office, which you can pick up at any time. If you need additional assistance, then you need to stop by the CSI Office during business hours.
