In order to more fully protect the health and well being of its students, Truman State University requires that all students born on or after January 1, 1957, must have two (2) doses of measles (rubella) vaccine in order to demonstrate adequate immunity. Complete information regarding this requirement will be sent to incoming students prior to matriculation. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a hold being placed on the next semester¹s registration. Students needing to update their immunizations status may do so at the Student Health Center.

Immunize For Measles Free
Measles immunizations are provided free at any Missouri Department of Health Clinic. In addition, the Student Health Center offers free measles immunization from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 15. No appointment is necessary. After Aug. 15, free measles immunization is offered on an appointment basis at the Health Center.
