LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Leadership Recognition Program
During April of the spring semester, the Leadership Recognition
Program recognizes outstanding leadership and service throughout the
campus community. Eight leadership awards are presented in the following
categories: Outstanding President, E.M. Violette Outstanding Advisor,
Outstanding Residential Leader, New Student Leader, Outstanding
Organization, Senior Leadership Award, Athletic Leadership Award, and
the Student Excellence Award. Other components of the program include
recognition of Who¹s Who among American Colleges & Universities, the Ron
& Elsie Gaber Award in Residential Living, and the Omicron Delta Kappa
Student Hall of Fame Awards presentation.
Leadership Resources
The Center for Student Involvement maintains a leadership resource
library and a leadership resource handout series available for use by
students, student organizations, faculty and staff. In addition, the
Center for Student Involvement sponsors occasional leadership workshops
on a variety of topics throughout the year. For more information
