The Index

The Index is published as a free service every Thursday and serves as the student newspaper. It is a source of information about what is happening on campus and around Kirksville. The Index can be found in the bins located in the Student Union, residence halls, McClain Hall, and other buildings throughout campus. The Index can also be found every week online at index.truman.edu/. Staff positions are open to all students. Good reporters and photographers are always welcome. Detours
Detours is a student-produced, regional magazine that serves off-campus readers throughout northeast Missouri. Published three times a year, the glossy publication provides features and articles on topics ranging from leisure and travel to history and personality profiles. Qualified students may work in various staff and freelance positions as writers, editors, photographers, designer and advertising reps. Individual copies sell for $3.50 apiece; subscriptions are available for $10 a year (3 issues). An online version of the magazine can be found at detours.truman.edu.

The Echo
The Echo, Truman State University¹s yearbook, is currently in its ninety-sixth year of publication. The yearbook is generally distributed in the fall to all students, faculty, and staff on campus that pick up the free book. The 300 plus page, hardbound book is a durable medium that will remain for years as a reminder of the times spent at Truman State University. The Echo has positions available for qualified students. There are ten editorial positions available along with numerous general staff, advertising, and photography positions. For more information see their website. KTRM
KTRM is the campus student radio station which programs music, news, and sports. lt can be found at 88.7 FM. The station offers a format of alternative music. KTRM¹s special programming features everything from music and news to movie and video reviews. Staff positions are open to all students. For more information see their website. Truman TV
Truman TV is the campus student television station. This station provides news coverage for the campus, broadcasting on channels 36, 77, and community cable. Any interested student may participate. Truman TV is located in the Media Center on the lower level of the Student Union. Phone785-7296.

Windfall
Windfall accepts prose, poetry, and art submissions from the student population of Truman State University and publishes all accepted submissions in an annual volume. Windfall functions under the auspices of the Language and Literature division of Truman State University. For more information see their website.
