During the rush/new member recruitment period (see below) no alcohol may be present at any of an organization¹s functions at which prospective members are in attendance. Period when policy is in effect: The time period between the official opening of the residence halls (beginning the Sunday before Freshman Week during the fall semester) and the official closing of the residence halls each semester.Penalties for Confirmed Violations of the Dry Rush Policy During an Academic Year:
First Offense‹loss of organization¹s charter for thirty (30) days.
Second Offense‹loss of organization¹s charter for one calendar year.
Third Offense‹penalty determined by the Dean of Student Affairs office.
