SKATEBOARDS, SKATES,
SCOOTERS
AND ROLLERBLADES
Because of the large numbers of pedestrians on the university campus
and the potential for injury to pedestrians, the following regulations
shall apply:
1. Skateboards are not allowed on university property.
2. Rollerblades, skates and scooters are not to be used in such a manner as to misuse or be destructive to university property, or in such a way as to be dangerous to self or others on campus (i.e. excessive speed or operating in an imprudent manner such as jumping steps or objects.) Rollerblades are not allowed to be worn in university buildings, with the exception of the area designated in the Student Recreation Center.
3. Violations of bicycle, skateboard, rollerblade or scooter regulations may result in the issuance of a ticket ($5.00 fine) and/or university disciplinary actions.
