Lambda Pi Eta The organization is a national communication honor society whose purpose is to recognize, foster, and reward outstanding scholastic achievement, to stimulate interest in the field of communication studies, to promote and encourage professional development, and to establish and maintain closer relationships and mutual understanding between faculty and students. Membership is open to any Truman student who has completed 45 semester hours of undergraduate work, has a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and has completed 9 semester hours in communication with a GPA of 3.25 in those courses.
